I've always been fascinated by nature and story books since I was little. Often I would delve into my imagination thinking about subjects with my own creativity and colors. 
     I work with both water color and oil, acrylic including ink & wash, graphite and mixed media. Being born and raised in midst of mountains and greeneries of Assam, India with inspirations from my parents who are most ardently creative in literature and art fields; my creative imagination is an accumulation of such experiences and my upbringings. Presently, I live with my husband and two kids in beautiful state of California, USA and love to spend my free time enjoying outdoors, gardening, hiking and listening to music.

     I tend to get my greatest inspiration from nature and its scenic beauty. My artistic expressions are celebration of life & hope and truly enjoy being able to contribute & enhance reality in its simple expressions & imaginative interpretations.

Art has been a constant source of passion and inspiration to me and I believe that art empowers our abilities and propels growth in all aspects of life. My thoughts are expressed through color, composition and strokes which are an accumulation of my experiences and my upbringings. I anticipate to spark a connection and introspection through my Art. It invites viewers to connect and evoke an emotional connection. The wonders of nature, its sound and beauties reflect in my style, color, media and composition.

Art gives a purpose to my life and existence. It's a journey that makes me do that needful which I aspire for.
